ARSHAD CHOWDHURY,
CEO and Founder
- Arshad is the CEO and founder of ClearGears, where he drives product development and operations. Before ClearGears, Arshad co-founded MetroNaps, a workforce fatigue-management solution that listed Google, Procter & Gamble, Cisco Systems, and Zappos.com among its clients. Arshad also co-owns Crowd Interactive, a Ruby on Rails development company based in Colima, MX. Arshad has been profiled on CNN, MSNBC, FastCompany Magazine, Businessweek for his entrepreneurial ventures. He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA from Wesleyan University.
STEVEN TYNAN,
Director of Operations
- Steven is the Director of Communications at ClearGears, where he oversees content throughout ClearGears -- on the blog, in the application, and on social networks. Before ClearGears, Steven was Co-Director at the Fogarty Family Literacy Project, a school for immigrant families learning English as a Second Language. Steven's work also includes professional copy editing, writing, and proofreading. Interestingly, Steven has spent a decade acting in New York City and Hollywood. He holds a BA from Brown University, and is an MA candidate at Middlebury College.
HEMANT PATEL,
CTO
- Hemant is the CTO of ClearGears, where he oversees software development, architecture, and security. Before ClearGears, Hemant was a tech lead at Rich Applications Consulting and Crowd Interactive. While at Crowd Interactive, he lead the team that serviced ModCloth.com, one of America's fastest growing online retailers. Hemant is a master programmer in C++, Java, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. He holds a BS in Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune.
NAJAM TARIQ,
Tech Lead
- Najam is the Tech Lead of ClearGears, where he works closely with Hemant to build the ClearGears application. Before ClearGears, Najam developed applications at Sheritech, Foound.com, and Crowd Interactive. At Crowd Interactive, he worked closely with Hemant on a number of projects. Najam is highly skilled in Ruby on Rails and Linux Administration. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Hamdard University, and is an MS candidate at Lahore University of Management & Sciences.
